The Chairman Kano Pillars Football Club Alhaji Babangida Umar Alias Little has urged Journalists to always fact-check their stories before publishing or Airing it.
Little was speaking while exchanging views with members of Sports writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Kano state chapter and Kano Pillars Fans club held at Kano state sports commission.
He regretted how some Newsmen usually print out stories that are untrue with the aimed of making name or fancying their masters describing such act as against the norms and ethics of the profession.

The Chairman extolled the visitors for the unalloyed support they have been according to the Pyramid city darling team hoping it will be sustained.
In a statement signed by Pillars’ assistant media Officer Mubarak Ismail Abubakar Madungurum quoted little as stressing the need for the two outfits being partners in progress to work hand in hand in enlightening spectators on the need to always uphold the spirit of sportsmanship whenever their darling team is playing as it has been the case in other climes.
He maintained that his door will remain open for meaningful suggestions, criticism and above all Observation, that will spur the progression of the team.

He praised the technical crew under Abdul Maikaba for their effort in moulding the lads charging them to remain tenacious in that regard.
He however thanked Governor Alhaji Abba Kabeer Yusuf for giving him the golden opportunity to lead the club for the second time in history an opportunity he described will forever remain fresh in his mind and that of his household.
