The 1st edition of Moses Ted Andishu Inter Media Scrabble competition will be staged on the 16th of December, 2023 in Kano, organizers of the event have disclosed.
The organizers of the event revealed that the winner of the competition will get N150,000,00, cash prize, runner up N100,000,00, third prize N50,000,00.
The competition sponsored by Managing Director, FeIvan UK Supports services, Moses Ted Andishu is aimed at encouraging working journalists in north west Nigeria to become words smith and learn to find time outside their busy schedule to recreate.

The organizers noted that the competition would be held annually, adding that at every edition the competition will be improve on, until it gets rated as one of the national competitions by the scrabble authority’s in Nigeria.
The competition is organized by Sports Without Borders Development Association SWIBODA in collaboration with NUJ Kano council, and SWAN Kano state chapter.
Journalists practicing their trade in north west Nigeria are encouraged to register to compete in the competition, organizers said.
