Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State, has assured his administration commitment to carry out necessary reorganization of the State Pilgrims Welfare Agency for effective and efficient performance to ensure smooth operation for the 2024 Hajj excercise.
Idris who stated this while recieving the report of the 2023 Hajj Committee, gave the assurance that the 2024 Hajj would surpass previous exercises in organisational structure, comfortability and smoothness.
According to Idris government would study the report and make obligatory adjustments such as tackling administrative problems and failure as well as appointing people of integrity who would serve Pilgrims throughout duration of the Hajj excercises.

He commended the 2023 Amirul Hajj team lead by, Rtd. General Muhammad Magoro for doing a good job and capturing everything holistically in their report.
Presenting the 2023 Hajj report to the governor, the Amirul Hajj, Rtd. General Muhammad Magoro, said the report encompassed the operations of the 2023 Hajj including recommendations on how to improve future Hajj operations.
Some of the recomendations advised that, the government to review the duties of the Pilgrims Agency through restructuring while the government should appoint Board Members prior to the commencement of the Pilgrimage.

Others are, air carriers should be contracted for the airlift of Pilgrims early enough and strongly recommended the reappraisal of the appointment of Local Government Hajj Guairds to guaird against misdemeanor.
The report indicates that, no death was recorded during the exercise at holy land, but some sickly pilgrims were left behind in Makkah for treatment of whom two female passed away and as well no pilgrim or any luggage was missing.
