FULL LIST: Kano Governor Appoints 21 Perm Sec, Deploys Others

The executive governor of Kano state Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf has approved the Appointment of twenty one (21) Permanent Secretaries and Redeployed eight (8) while the remaining nine (9) Retained their positions.

In a statement signed by director media and Publicity to the state governor Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa said the development was part of Yusuf’s commitment to rejuvenate the State Civil Service for better performance and effective service delivery.

The Governor’s approval was conveyed in a circular issued on Friday and signed by the Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Abdullahi Musa.

According to the statement, those appointed include:

1. Aminu Shuaibu Rabo, Government house.

2. Abdul Saad Zakirai, acting Permanent Secretary,Protocol Directorate, Government House.

3. Usman Bashir Maikano, Deputy -Governor’s Office.

4. Aminu Yusuf Kura, Special Service, Deputy -Governor’s Office

5. Umar Mahmud Jalo, Establishment directorate.

6. Kubra Ahmad Bichi, Pension Fund Trustees

7. Dan’asabe Yahaya, SERVICOM.

8. Ibrahim Boyi, Salary and Wages.

9. Abubakar Sadiq Mahmud, acting Permanent Secretary,CSC.

10. Engr. Garba Adamu, Policy Strategy, Evaluation and Implementation Directorate.

11. Muhammad Yusuf Dan’duwa, Ministry of Commerce, Investment, and Industries.

12. Mahmud Bello Bari, Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.

13. Abdulmumini Musa Aliyu, Acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources.

14. Muttaka Iliyasu, Ministry for Higher Education.

4. Sani Bashir Yola, Ministry of Information to Ministry of Religious Affairs.

5. Hafsat Iliyasu Aliyu, Ministry of Religious Affairs to Ministry of Information.

6. Aisha Abba Kailani, acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Tourism and Culture to Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations.

The Governor tasked the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries to discharge their duties diligently, and with competence for the promotion of lofty goals of present administration in the state.
