KAROTA Intercept Truck Loaded With 4,600 Bottle of Beer

Kano State Road and Traffic Agency (KAROTA) has intercepts truck with over 4,600 bottles of beer in Kano.

This is contained in a statement issued to newsmen by the Public Relations Officer of the Agency, Nabilusi Abubakar Kofar Na’isa which was sent to GLOBAL TRACKER on Monday in Kano.

According to the statement, “the truck with registration number FGE 407 XB was apprehended along Ibrahim Taiwo road around 4:00am by personnel of the Agency.

“Immediately the driver saw officer of the Agency he park the truck and ran away,” he said in the statement.

The statement also quoted the Managing Director, Engineer Faisal Mahmud Kabir as saying, “once investigation is completed, we will hand them over to Hisbah Board for necessary action.

Mahmud Kabir further called on the general public to always support his agency for the security and safety of the state.
