Yuletide: NSCDC To Deployed 200 Personnel, RRS, 4 Patrol Teams in Kebbi

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp NSCDC, Kebbi State Command, is to deployed 200 Personnel, Rapid Respond Squard and 4 Patrol team to ensure adequate security during the festive period.

The Commandant of the Corp, Kabiru Abubakar Alkamawa, who stated this while briefing newsmen in Birnin Kebbi, explained that, the Command is fully ready to ensure hitch free festivity in the state.

He said officers and men of the Corp would be deployed to the four emirates of the state that includes Argungu, Gwandu, Yauri and Zuru to ensure no criminal activities committed during the festive period.

The Commandant therefore warned those that are trying to breach the peace enjoy by the people in the state to desist as the command would not hesited to arrested anyone found wanting.

Alkamawa also called on the good people of the state to report to the security any suspected person in their area.

He equally mentioned that, from January to date, the Command has arrested and prosecuted over 300 suspected criminals for committing verious offences in the state.

The commandard warned those criminals that are vadalizing the newly installed street lights on highways in Birnin Kebbi metropolis to stop as officers and men of the command has commenced patrol to arrest the cultprits.
