Kano Governor Loses Uncle

The Uncle to the executive governor of Kano state Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has died at the age of 72.

In a statement signed by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the spokesperson to the Governor, late Hassan Yusuf, a retired Nursing Officer died after protracted illiness.

“With total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, we announced the passing away of Alhaji Hassan Yusuf Danmakwayo” said Dawakin Tofa.

Aged 72, Hassan died today and has been buried according to Islamic rites.

The deceased is survived by his wife, many children, grandchildren and relatives.

Late Dan’makwayo was the younger brother to late Alhaji Kabir Yusuf, the father of Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.

The Governor prayed to Almighty Allah to grant his soul Jannatul Firdaus and the fortitude of the family to bear the irreparable loss.
