Recruitment: Police Commences Physical/Credentials Screening in Jigawa.

The Jigawa state police command says it would commence the physical as well as Credentials Screening of Constable Cadre (General Duty/specialist) on Monday 8th January to Monday 29th January, 2024.

This was contained in a statement signed by DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, the state police public relations officer which was sent to journalist in Dutse the state capital on Tuesday.

According to the statement all the applicants who completed the online recruitment registration exercise into the Police Constable Cadre (General Duty/ Specialist) and received invitation letters via their emails, are to proceed for physical and credential screening.

It said successful applicants are to appear at the Police State Headquarters Dutse in their clean white T-shirts and Shorts with the following basic requirements:

Recent passport photograph.

Evidence of physical/mental fitness from a government-recognized Medical Hospital.

Evidence of good character from the Traditional Ruler or Village/District head of the applicant.

National Identity Number (NIN).

Original and duplicate copies of Credentials- ‘O’ Level Result(s), Certificate/Declaration of Age- neatly arranged in two white files with recent Passport Photographs fixed.

Printout of application form.

Duly completed Guarantor’s form.

Invitation slip.

Any candidate who fails to present any of these above-mentioned requirements will not be considered for the screening.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police Jigawa State Command, CP AT ABDULLAH has reiterates that the recruitment exercise is free of charge and without any pecuniary obligation.

He further assures that the process will be conducted in the best tradition of transparency and accountability, advising the applicants to be wary of online impostors, scammers, and other criminal elements who might want to take advantage of the process to dupe innocent applicants.

However, he warns that anyone found wanting during the exercise will be arrested and prosecuted accordingly.
