The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, has assured people living in security crisis areas of his Administration’s resolve for absolute protection of their lives and property for them to contribute their quota in the overall development of the state.
The Governor was addressing a large number of APC faithfuls who gathered at the Haliru Abdu Stadium after their motorcade moved from Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport through the major streets of Birnin Kebbi to rejoice with him over the Supreme Court victory.
The Governor stated that, its is the responsibility of his government to bring peace to Zuru, Yauri and Argungu Emirates being the flashpoints of security challenges that had resulted to lost of lives and property as well as shortfall in agricultural and business activities.

According to the Governor, it is the responsibility of his administration to secure the life of every citizen in the state.
“No society would prosper when its people are living in chaos, unsecured and disarray. Let me stressed here that as long as we remain in power all flashpoint areas in the state would be maximally protected”.
Governor Idris, maintained that, the administration would continue with the development started since on assumption office in May 29th, 2023 which he attributed to the support he enjoined from APC leadership, State Assembly, State Executive Council members and the public
He however called on members of the opposition parties to put aside their political differences to join hands with his government to move the state forward now that litigations were over if truly they were after the genuine development of Kebbi State.
