The commissioner of Police Jigawa state command CP AT Abdullahi has presented the cheques of forty-one million, five hundred and twenty-seven thousand, three hundred and sixty naira, thirty-seven kobo (₦41,527,360.37k) to the family of twenty-two (22) Next of Kin of Police officers who died while in active service.
DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, the state police public relations officer in a statement sent to Journalist said the commissioner’s presentation is on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police IGP. Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun which took place at the State Headquarters, Dutse.

The CP, while presenting the cheques, appreciated the effort of the Inspector-General of Police for welfare and urged the beneficiaries to make efficient and judicious use of the Money for their betterment.
One of the beneficiaries, Habiba Ekwele Kwale speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, appreciated the IGP and the Commissioner of Police, for their kind gesture, stressing that, the money had arrived in a time with current economic hardship, and they promised to utilize it properly.
