Kano golf player Dauda Musa Adam has emerged overall champion at the just concluded 2024 maiden edition of Kano golf Captain’s inaugural tournament.
Dauda clinch first position at the senior armature category one for the first time in his appearance at the tournament.
Kaduna golf player Ahmad Zaria, finished second position while Isaac Omoro clinched a bronze medal who finished third.

Also, Augustina Pius emerged as winner after clinched first position in ladies category.
The Kano Captain golf club Ambassador Ali Magashi has promised to continue the organizing the tournament every quarter and also he thanks all the dignitaries who attended the ceremony.
Over 200 golf players from Nigeria, USA and South Korea participated in five different categories at the tournament.

Some of the dignitaries that graced the tournament include the executive governor of Katsina State Umar Dikko Radda, Jigawa state governor Malam Umar Namadi, Minister Youths and sports development Senator John Uwan Enoh, Kano state commissioner Youth’s and sports Hon. Safiyanu Hamza Kachako among others.
