Kebbi Dissolves Local Government Chairmen, Secretaries

The Kebbi State Governor comrade Nasir Idris, has announced the dissolution of the 21 elected Local Government Council Chairmen and their Secretaries.

The dissolution followed the expiration of their tenure on Monday, February 5th 2024.

Governor Idris, directed the Chairmen to hand over to the Directors of Personnel Management of their respective local government councils.

Addressing the outgoing chairmen at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi, Idris, thanked them for the services rendered to their constituencies, saying that they had done well.

He stated that, there were laws governing the local government administration and it was imperative for government to respect those laws.
