Kano State Government has been commended for revoking lands allocated illegally to individuals within schools premises by immediate pass administration.
The chairman board of trustees of Gwale Old Boys Association (GOBA), Imam Ahmad Zubair Galadanchi disclosed this at meeting held with the leadership of the union.
In a statement sent to GLOBAL TRACKER by national publicity Secretary of GOBA Bashir Habibu Yahya said the meeting also acknowledged the demonstrated concern and commitment of the state government toward the development of education sector across the state.

The board also maintained that education stakeholders and other critical organisation such as Schools Old Boys are being encouraging to key in and collaborate with the state government to achieve positive development in the sector.
The trustees further urged the alma mata, class chapters to continue to support the association through payment of their annual dues before the forthcoming annual general meeting (AGM) scheduled to hold in April, this year.
The association appreciated the efforts of the office of immediate past President, Mahammad Buhari for intervention in Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) to GSS Gwale which was facilitated by his wife Hajiya Aisha Buhari.
The presidency intervention in the school includes, the constructions of 48 new classrooms, renovated all the dilapidated classrooms and furnished with furniture in addition to interlocking the entire floor of the school premises.

Galadanchi of class 72, donated sixty five thousands naira (N65,000.00) as his contribution to sponsors 10 less privileges students to purchase Join Admission and Matriculation Examination Board (JAMB), forms under the umbrella of Ahmad snd Nafisa foundation.
The National President of GOBA, Engr. Hassan Abdulkadir presented money in cash to the Director of the school on behalf of donor.
