BREAKING: Jailed Imran Khan’s PTI Party Lead with 98 seats in Pakistan General Election

Candidates loyal to jailed former prime minister Imran Khan were ahead in Pakistan’s election, in front of the two dynastic parties believed favored by the military, as the vote count entered its final leg.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led by former prime minister Imran Khan has so per wins 98 seats as counting continued in country’s general election.

PTI in now followed by Pakistan Muslim League (PMLN) which so per win 67 seats, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) with 51 seats while the seats for another 24 seats waiting for official announcement.

Meanwhile, two people were believed to have been killed in northwest Pakistan on Friday in a confrontation between police and followers of Imran Khan.

Police and his party said, it is the first confirmed fatalities over a fractious election count.
