Analyst Hails Court Verdict On Relocation Of Kano Medicine Market

A Kano based Public Affairs Commentator Malam Aminu Idris Fagge has described the verdict passed by a Federal High Court sitting in Kano on this relocation of the Kano medicine market as timely.

Speaking to news men in Kano, Fagge said the relocation has become necessary in view of the rot in the way trugs were being sold in the market lading that the menace of fake drugs could only be jettisoned with the entire operations of the market properly sanitizer.

According to him, the new site of the market has met the standard of a befitting International market stressing that the market could serve as a transit hub for States in the northern region.

He wondered why some medicine Marketers still remained defiant in respecting the court Verdict by removing the seal order out on shops closed in the wake of the court Verdict calling on the Kano State Government to call the erring Marketers to order.

He pointed out that the menace of fake and counterfeit drugs has done more harm to the youth taking to drugs which has the tendency of breeding hardened Criminals stressing however that with the facilities installed in the new market the problem would be solved with out tears.
