Troops Neutralised 5 ISWAP Terrorists in Borno

Troops of 25 Task Force Brigade, Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), have neutralized four (4) Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists in Ngala Local Council of Borno State.

The terrorists were killed in an ambush operation coordinated by the tTroops3 Battalion in conjunction with the Civilian Joint Task Force on March 3, 2024.

Intelligence sources told security analyst and counter-insurgency expert in Lakechad region and West Africa Zagazola Makama that the troops conducted an ambush at Moula, suspected to be the insurgent’s logistics route at Ngala.

The sources said that contact was made and troops naturalized four of the terrorists.

Additionally, the troops of 2the 02 Battalion deployed at Bama neutralized one terrorist at about 22 am on Monday.

The terrorist attempted to infiltrate the troops’ location using the cover of darkness when the troops intercepted him and surprised him.
