Kebbi Govt. Dismissed District Head, Suspends One For Misconduct

The Kebbi State Government, has dismissed the District Head of Sauwa, Alhaji Muhammad Tajudden-Sauwa, and placed a six-month suspension on the District Head of Gulma, Alhaji Muhammad Bashir-Gulma both in the Argungu local government area of the state.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Chairman Local Government Service Commission, Alhaji Mansir Shehu, and made available to Newsmen in Birnin Kebbi.

The statement said that the termination and suspension of the two district heads were in line with the Public Services Rule (PSR) 030301(0) which centered around serious acts of misconduct.

It stated that the termination and suspension of the two district heads was a result of a committee’s report constituted to investigate their misconduct.

According to the statement, after the committee’s investigation, they were found guilty. Meanwhile, the termination and suspension took effect on 29th February 2024.

The statement further stated that the district head of Sauwa was found with consistent acts of insubordination, while Gulma with mild insubordination, and his salary would be on hold for six months.
