Bagwai LG Calls for Completion of Izala Mosque Project

The Bagwai local government Council has been called upon to complete the ongoing Izala Friday Mosque project in Bagwai town.

The local chairman of Jama’atul Izalatul Bidi’a Wa’iƙamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS) in Bagwai, Malam Abdullahi Salihu made the call when he led executive members of the organization to the local caretaker chairman Engineer Bello Abdullahi Gadanya in his office.

In a statement by Tasi’u Jibo Dawanau, Bagwai’s information officer quoted Salihu as saying that the project when completed would provide an enabling environment for prayers to Muslims and expansion of Bagwai Islamiyya school in the old site of the Mosque.

In his remark, the chairman of the Shura committee in the Organisation, Malam Shu’aibu Sani Bagwai advised the local administration to include the three JIBWIS mosques as Ramadan feeding centers for the people of Bagwai town.

Responding, Engineer Bello Gadanya who was represented by the vice chairman of the council Alhaji Farouk Aliyu Bagwai expressed appreciation for the visit and pledged to submit their request to the caretaker chairman for prompt action.

The Secretary of the local government, Dr. Ali Lawan Alhassan Kiyawa advised the executive members of the organization to offer meaningful suggestions to local administration for sustainable development of the area.
