Muslims have a charge to redouble their efforts in worshipping the Almighty God Allah, especially in the last ten days of Ramadan to seek Allah’s blessings, forgiveness, and peace.
An Islamic Scholar based in Zamfara State Dr. Muhammad Tukur Sani Jangebe gave the charge during a Ramadan Tafsir at the Abdulsalami Abubakar 100 Housing Estate Bypass Gusau.
Dr Jangebe said Ramadan is a month of spiritual cleansing and purification for Muslims in which they try to increase their worship, good deeds, and acts of charity.

He said the last ten days and nights hold even more significance as Allah shows great mercy to His creation and they are a chance to benefit from the immense blessings of Ramadan and seek salvation before the month comes to an end.
Dr Jangebe further explained that “Laylatul Qadr” the Night of Decree or Night of Power, is one of the most sacred nights in the Islamic calendar which takes place in the last ten days of Ramadan and was the night in which the Qur’an is revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
It is also believed to be the night in which Allah shows great mercy to His creation and the night in which one’s fate is decreed, and urge Muslims to intensify prayers for forgiveness, reciting the holy Qur’an, sending Salawat (blessings upon the Prophet) and give out Sadakat.
The scholar who was the former Commissioner for religious affairs Zamfara State and former Chief Imam Muslims Foundation Jumuaat Mosque GRA Gusau, said the rewards of giving sadaqah during Ramadan are multiplied by 70 and the reward for any righteous act during Laylatul Qadr is equivalent to having performed the same act for over 83 years
According to him, the exact date of Laylatul Qadr is unknown, although it is thought to occur on an odd night in the last ten days of Ramadan 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27 or 29th night as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, Seek it in the last ten days, on the odd nights.
He also called on Muslims to use the Ramadan period to intensify prayers for peace and stability to prevail in Zamfara, northern Nigeria, and the country in general.
