“I also want to express my deepest appreciation to the Kano SWAN Executive Committee and all the players for their dedication and hard work that made this win possible,” he said.

Despite the challenging weather conditions – characterized by the scorching sun and the nature of the pitch, our players displayed exemplary performance and determination throughout the match.

“I must commend our opponents, the Kurmawa Correctional Service Inmates, for their outstanding teamwork and determination. They played exceptionally well but were perhaps unlucky in converting their chances into goals. It’s worth noting that this defeat marks a rare occurrence for the Correctional Service Inmates, as reported by their officers, as it’s their first loss in over a decade,” Garba said.

Overall, the match was a testament to the sportsmanship and resilience displayed by both teams. It was a hard-fought battle that showcased the spirit of unity and camaraderie in sports. Congratulations to Kano SWAN for this well-deserved victory, and commiserations to the Kurmawa Correctional Service Inmates for their valiant effort. May this match foster continued goodwill and friendship between the organizations.
