The Kebbi State Government, has received with deep shock the sad news of the passing away of the Kebbi State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) Alhaji Hamza Galadima Zuru.
The late NUJ Chairman died at the early hours of Thursday following a protracted illness at the Federal Medical Center, Birnin Kebbi.
In a condolence message to the family of the deceased and the entire journalists in the State and NUJ, the Government described the death of the late journalist as a loss to the State.

The message, described the deceased as a core professional, consummate and diligent personality.
According to the message, the late Chairman would be remembered by a myriad of legacies he has left as a journalist and as a leader.
He prayed Allah to forgive his shortcomings and admit him into Aljannar Firdaus and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Aged 52, late veteran journalist, Hamza Galadima Zuru, survived by 11 children.
He has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
