Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, 15th Emir of Kano, has moved into a palace in the ancient town.

Daily Trust had reported how he returned to the town in the early hours of Saturday and moved into Emirs house located along state road best known as “Gidan Sarki of Nassarawa.”

He had subsequently announced the reinstatement of Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi, whom Ganduje deposed in 2020.

He later moved into the mini-palace in Nassarawa, fueling confusion.

However, Sanusi II has taken over the Gidan Rumfa palace.

The two palaces are now under heavy security cover.

Governor Yusuf had earlier asked security operatives to arrest Ado Bayero whom he accused of creating tension in the state.
