The Nigerian Police force says the security agencies in the state have uncovered intelligence report that some miscreant were planning to unleash terror in some important places like Kano State House of Assembly and other government buildings.
The Commissioner of Police Mohammad Usaini Gumel disclosed this during a media briefing held at police headquarters Kano.
He said the joint security agencies will embark on house to house search on anybody who thinks he is above the law.

Gumel said the security agencies would continued to stand by the law,and would not relent in strict adherence to the Court Order.
He assured the general public of the security of lives and properties of the general populace.
He urged the general public to continue to Accord all the necessary support with the aim of ensuring peace.
He debunked rumours circulated on the social media that there was a protest in Kano, saying it was untrue and rumour perpetrated by miscreant who have bad intention to the development of the State.
