The Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf has met with the National security Adviser to the President Mallam Nuhu Ribadu in Abuja.
Governor Yusuf in a statement posted on his social media handle X formerly Twitter, he said that he had an important meeting with Nuhu Ribadun.
“I had a fruitful engagement with the National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, this afternoon in Abuja,” said Yusuf.
Details of the meeting is yet to be a certain at press time, but some people think that the meeting has to do with the emirship tussle currently happening in Kano.
GLOBAL TRACKER recalled that last weekend, the deputy governor of Kano, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam, accused Nuhu Ribadun of plotting the return of the 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, to the city, two days after the state governor announced his removal from the throne.
However, Ribadun’s office denied the allegations and threatened to take the deputy governor to court if he did not retract his statement.
Later, the deputy governor retracted his statement and apologized to Ribadu, adding that initially they did not understand the nature of the issue.
