Cyprus has claimed that they are not party or involved in the ongoing war between a Lebanese Shia militant group, “Hezbollah” and Israel.
Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides said his island nation “is in no way involved” in any military operations in the region.
On Thursday, Constantinos Letympiotis, the spokesman, said: “Our relations are still excellent with Lebanon.”

According to him the relations of the Republic of Cyprus with Lebanon are excellent and all negotiations will take place at the diplomatic level.
No country will be granted permission to conduct military operations through Cyprus.”
The development comes as Flight Radar says otherwise. Cyprus has been used recently for massive UK Cargo ships Delivery to Israel and Drone Renaissance Missions over Gaza.
The geopolitics, politics and War monitoring journalist Megatron revealed that the planes that hunted the Iranian missiles and drones that were fired at Israel also took off from their bases in Cyprus.
The US and Britain are now preparing these airfields for Israel to use in case Hezbollah destroys the Israeli ones.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah has refused any negotiations with Israel with reports saying the full-scale war is eminent.
GLOBAL TRACKER learned that the United States (U.S) Special Envoy, Amos Hochstein, announces that diplomatic efforts to calm tensions between Israel and Hezbollah have officially failed, as Hezbollah squarely refuses any negotiation.
Israeli media also claimed that ‘Over the past days, Israel has tried frantically to stop escalation with Hezbollah and to prevent war. But Hezbollah is not interested in de-escalation,’ the claimed this newspaper can not independently verified.
In the same vein, Hezbollah has announced that it will not engage in negotiations with Israel, despite the Israeli government’s recent overtures towards the group.
Sources from Lebanon and middle east believed that the group cites a lack of trust in the Israeli government and its motives, pointing to the past conflicts and Israel’s actions in Lebanon and the region.

The development may increase regional tensions and complicate efforts to resolve ongoing conflicts with analyst saying the move may also impact the broader Middle East peace process.
But, Gershon Baskin, the Middle East director for the NGO International Communities Organisation, says the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah is completely tied to the war on Gaza, Aljazeera media network reports.
“There is no real conflict between the state of Israel and Lebanon. The conflict is all around the core issue of Israel and Palestine,” Baskin, a former hostage negotiator, told Al Jazeera from West Jerusalem. “This is why international attention needs to be focused on finding the diplomatic, political end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and, first and foremost, the war in Gaza.”
He added that the escalating fighting and “bold” rhetoric between Israel and Hezbollah is cause for concern.
“It’s a very dangerous picture right now with both sides being quite bold in their remarks. A great deal of ignorance here of each side threatening to hit the other going way beyond what they’ve done in the past eight and a half months,” he said.
“It’s extraordinarily dangerous for the people of Israel and the people of Lebanon if this war escalates anymore.”
In another development, Hezbollah says it has targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers inside the Samaka site as well as the Ruwaysat al-Alam site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shouba hills.

It said it also “achieved a direct hit” when it shelled the Zabadin site in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms with artillery.
But the ongoing war on Gaza has killed least 37,431 people and 85,653 wounded in Israeli military attacks on Gaza since October 7, the enclave’s Health Ministry says.
Of those, 35 Palestinians were killed and 130 wounded in the past 24-hour reporting period, the ministry added.
