BREAKING: Coup Attempt Currently in Bolivia

Armored vehicles have rammed into the doors of the government palace In what is described as unusual military movement, the development tagged by many as an ongoing coup attempt in Bolivia.

Bolivian President Luis Arce has warned of an “irregular” military deployment in the capital city of La Paz.

The situation has raised fears of a potential coup, with former President Evo Morales denouncing the military movement as a coup “in the making.”

Soldiers and tanks have been deployed in the streets of La Paz, with the general commander of the Army, Juan José Zúñiga, confirming the movement of uniformed officers.

The minister of the presidency María Nela Prada has called the situation an “attempted coup d’etat.”

GLOBAL TRACKER learned that the general Secretary of the Organization of American States Luis Almagro has condemns developments in Bolivia and says ‘the army must submit to the legitimately elected civil power’.
