A ‘growing number of Democratic party leaders’ want United States president Joe Biden to step aside form presidential elections race for the ‘good of the party – and the country,’ CNN reports.
The move comes after Biden’s performance in the first presidential debate against republican presidential aspirant Donald Trump, which was seen as a disaster by many.
GLOBAL TRACKER learned that some of the possible alternatives to president Biden include Vice President Kamala Harris, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and former US Naval officer Pete Buttigieg.
Others are Josh Shapiro, Jared Polis, Gavin Newsom, Raphael G. Warnock and wife of former Michelle Obama.
