President Tinubu Appoints Two Kano Politicians, Others to Key Positions

President Bola Tinubu has approved a series of appointments to key positions in various government agencies.

The development was contained in a statement by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale which was made available to journalist in Abuja.

According to the statement, the appointees include:

– Mr. Silas Agara, Director-General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE)

– Mr. Umar Ibrahim Mohammed, Director-General of the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency (NIHSA)

– Mr. Baffa Agundi, Director-General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC)

– Mr. Saleh Abubakar, Director-General of the National Agency for the Great Green Wall (NAGGW)

– Mr. Oluwaseun Faleye, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF)

– Mrs. Mojisolaoluwa Kehinde Alli-Macaulay, Executive Director (Operations) of the NSITF

– Ms. Omolola Bridget Oloworaran, Director-General of the National Pension Commission (PenCom)

– Mr. Jobson Ewalefoh, Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC)

– Mr. Cornelius Oluwasegun Adebayo, Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA)

– Dr. Mainasara Umar Kogo, Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT)

– Mr. Tosin Adeyanju, Executive Secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF)

– Abubakar Dantsoho, Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA)

– Senator Adedayo Adeyeye, Chairman of the Board of the NPA

– Senator Bashir Lado Mohammed, Special Adviser to the President on Senate Matters (Office of the President)

– Mr. Idris Ajimobi, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Livestock Development (Office of the President).

Senator Bashir Lado Muhammad and Baffa Dan agundi happened to be staunch followers of president Tinubu from Kano state.

The statement added that the President expects the appointees to demonstrate dedication and patriotic zeal in enhancing service delivery and quality of life across the nation.
