BREAKING: Political Parties Unaware of KANSIEC’s Scheduled LG Election in Kano

The political parties in Kano state says they are unaware of the scheduled local government election in Kano state announced earlier today by Kano State Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC).

The parties under the umbrella of Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) said none of the members of the association from all political parties is aware of the development that a local government election was scheduled to hold on 30th of November 2024 in Kano as announced by KANSIEC.

The legal adviser of IPAC Barrister Salisu Salisu Umar who double as chairman of Young Progressives’ Party (YPP), Ali Shattima, organizing secretary who double as chairman of SDP and Musa Mai-gari, the secretary of People Redemption Party (PRP) disclosed this in an interview with GLOBAL TRACKER correspondent in Kano on Wednesday.

According to them, political parties don’t hold congress before even deciding on flags bearer’s.
