Ukraine have received the long-awaited arrival of United States built F-16 fighter jets which marks a significant milestone in the fight against Russian forces.
Expert say only six aircraft have been delivered so far, far short of the 60-120 needed for significant impact.
While Russia has had time to prepare defenses, the F-16s are expected to bolster Ukraine’s air defense capabilities.
Ukraine has been actively attacking Russian air defenses to pave the way for the effective deployment of the new jets.
