The Kaduna state government says it has not reviewed 24-hours curfew imposed on Kaduna and Zaria towns and their environs.
GLOBAL TRACKER recalled that the Kaduna state security council has on Monday imposed a 24-hour curfew on Kaduna and Zaria Metropolitan Cities to dust dow the lingering hunger protest.
However, in a post on his verified X handle, “@samuelaruwan” formerly Twitter, Samuel Aruwan, Overseeing Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs said the curfew has not been reviewed.

“The 24-hour curfew remains in place and is being actively enforced by security agencies, contrary to insinuations that it has been reviewed,” Aruwan said on X.
“Citizens are enjoined to observe the curfew strictly, and to shun rumours or unverified reports,” he further said.
He then added that reliable and accurate updates will be duly communicated to the public through official channels.
