Kano Govt. Suspends Imposed Curfew After Violent Protest

Kano state Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has suspended curfew imposed on the state over the violence that characterised the #endbad governance protests in the state.

The State Commissioner for Information, Baba Halilu Dantiye, announced this on Monday.

Recalled that Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf had on August 1st, 2024 announced a 24-hour curfew after the nationwide peaceful protest in the state tuned violence with the destruction of public and private property and looting.

The governor relaxed the Imposed from 5am to 2pm, and letter from 5am to 6pm daily.
