The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Kano has apprehended a job racketeer that specialized in defrauding people of their hard earned money with phantom employment in Kano State government ministries.
SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, the command public relations officer stated this in a statement sent to journalists in Kano on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the suspect, Mu’azu Mohammed Ibrahim, 32yrs, a resident of Sagagi quarters, Kano Municipal LGA was arrested after weeks of intense trail of his whereabouts following complaints lodged by individuals mostly women, who had been duped by the suspect of money more than 1.2 million Naira.

The suspect lured his victims with a pretence that he’s a key government official and can secure offer of employment for them in government MDAs, a ghost promise which eventually turned out to be untrue.
According to Kano NSCDC command, investigation has been concluded and the suspect will be charged to court by the Corps legal Unit.
