CITAD Trains Young People on Transforming Technological Ideas Into Business

The Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD) has trained about 30 youth drowned from different aspect of human life on cyber security and Climate technology as well as transforming technological ideas into business.

The training focused on converting ideas to technology and into reality which remained key in globalization and solving issues and challenges threatening human life and the environment.

In his well come address, the executive director of CITAD Engineer Yunusa Zakari Ya’u represented by monitoring and evaluation officer John Otaro urged the participants to use the training and developed their skills and ideas into reality so as to be useful in the society.

“Most of you now have different though, thinking and ideas, I hope you will listen to this presenters attentively on what they would put you through, if you have any idea planned it, talk to them, they would guide you to develop it so that whatever you invented will solves specific issues to people,” said John.

In an interview with journalist, the CITAD’s technical officer Muhammad Bello Yahaya said the training is aimed at transforming technological Ideas into Business.

“You everything now a days turn into technology based, so here in CITAD we come on with the initiatives that we will be mentoring young people on climate change, education technology, health technology, financial technology and Agro – technology,” Bello said.

“At the end of this training we will asked them to come out with an idea so that we will start mentoring them and ensure every idea is turn into reality, and we will try a much as we can to attach with relevant policy makers and grants so that they can actualized it. And as i am speaking to you there are five of our beneficiaries that have been given scholarship by Kano state government,” he said.

One of the beneficiary Suleiman Muhammad Nata-allah from Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology Wudil appreciate the training and assured to work diligently in developing all their ideas into reality.
