The executive governor of Kano State Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has expressed heartfelt condolence to the immediate families and members of the medical community over the passing away of late Dr. Habibu Sadauki who died yesterday following an illness.
This was contained in a Statement made available to newsmen by the director general, Kano state government house Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa in Kano.
According to the statement, governor Yusuf described the death of Dr. Habibu Sadauki as a monumental loss in view of his contributions to the development of health care services in Kano State, Nigeria and beyond.
He also noted the immense contributions of the deceased to the health care policy as one-time Executive Secretary, Kano State Hospitals Management Board and immediate past president of the Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics of Nigeria (SOGON).
“We received with the deepest shock the news of death of Dr. Sadauki, a medical practitioner of international repute who impacted on lives of many women as an experienced and hard-working gynecologist
“On behalf of the government and good people of Kano State, I extend condolences to his families, members of the medical community, may Allah SWT grant him eternal rest and Jannatul Firdausi be his final abode.” Prayed the governor
In another development, the executive governor of Kano state Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has Condoled with the families of late Alhaji Haruna Dan-Asabe of Getso town in Gwarzo local government who died some days ago at the age of 83.
In a statement by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, said governor Abba Kabir mourned the death of an influential community figure, a business man and a renowned farmer.
The governor appreciated the efforts of late Alhaji Haruna Dan-Asabe Getso towards the development of Gwarzo community who inspired and support many that prosper in farming and business.

Yusuf prayed to Almighty Allah, the most exalted to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest, Jannatul Firdausi be his final abode, and grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Late Alhaji Haruna Getso died last week after an illness and is survived by a wives,15 children and many grand children. Among his children is Alhaji Kabiru Getso Haruna, Executive Secretary, Kano State Scholarship Board.
