Kano NUJ Advocates for Establishment of Chapel in Ammasco Radio

The Chairman, Kano State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi has assured to improve relationship between the Union and media outfits in the state

He made this known during a familiarization visits to Ammasco Radio and appealed for the establishment of a chapel to improve it’s productivity.

Comrade Dederi assured to incorporate all unregistered media houses into the Union, saying that his leadership is fostering better collaboration and synergy within the media landscape of the state.

Comrade Dederi explained that the move not only promotes a unified approach within the media industry but also allows for more organized and coordinated effort in showcasing the activities and initiatives of the Union through awareness programs.

The Chairman further said that through working together, the Union and media outfits will create a cohesive platform to highlight important issues and make a significant impact on society.

In his remarks Managing Director of Ammasco Radio Alhaji Ibrahim Mustapha, highlighted the efforts of the station to initiates radio programs that will encourage youth and women participation into skills acquisition programs that is crucial to the community development.

In a statement signed by secretary of the Union Abubakar Shehu Kwaru, the chairman noted that focusing on initiatives that promote skill development and productivity, the station is contributing positively towards reducing idleness in society and empowering individuals to become more self-sufficient.

Furthermore, the station’s emphasis on programs aimed at reviving industries in the state is laudable by drawing attention to the need for industrial revitalization, Ammasco Radio is playing a key role in advocating for economic growth and development in the region.

Adding that the proactive approach not only raises awareness but also assists in mobilizing relevant authorities and stakeholders to take necessary actions towards industrial resurgence.

Overall, the collaboration between the Kano State Union of Journalists and media outfits like Ammasco Radio demonstrates a shared commitment to enhancing community engagement, promoting skill development, and advocating for industrial progress.
