As I glanced, recalling my ordeal and my recent article “my turbulence experience with air peace flight P47425: A night of delays and chaos”
In which i relayed my truthful experience flying through MAKIA en route Abuja using a fleet of one of the struggling airline in the Nigeria aviation industry, some weeks ago and how inefficient operational procedures of some domestic airlines flying routes in Nigeria were to be.

However, my recent flight with Rano air a newly introduced domestic airline flying Kano and other Nigeria’s routes has proven to be a different story.

My discussion with a traveller onboard the same aircraft, whom i deliberately engaged with, about the efficacious services of the new Rano airline, has eventually changes my mind from the nasty experiences i and many other passengers had in several stances in the past, while flying Nigeria’s domestic routes.

The Nigerian aviation sector has faced several challenges over the years, from delayed flights to poor customer service from frequent travelers, the experience of flying in Nigeria often comes with frustration, especially when dealing with operational inefficiencies.

However, Rano Air, a relatively new player in the aviation industry, is changing this narrative.

Though Rano Air operates with a small fleet of lightweight aircraft, it has proven to be a breath of fresh air amidst the chaotic and often stressful experiences air passengers face with many Nigerian airlines.

My recent experience with the airline was a smooth one, which contrasts sharply with what I had that prompted my recent article to become accustomed to.

From booking to boarding, Rano Air has been remarkably efficient. Despite being a new airline, its operations run seamlessly, making the entire flying process stress-free.

The punctuality of the flights was impressive—something that is often lacking with other local airlines. The staff were professional, the flight was comfortable, and there was a clear focus on customer satisfaction.

What struck me the most was Rano Air’s commitment to timeliness.
In a country where flight delays and cancellations are almost the norm, Rano Air has proved that, it is possible for a Nigerian airline to stick to schedules.

This was a refreshing departure from the many unpleasant experiences Nigerians have had with other carriers, where time management seems to be a secondary concern.

Rano Air’s success so far has signaled an important lesson, efficiency and professionalism which are achievable in Nigeria’s aviation industry.

The airline has shown that, despite being new and working with limited resources, a commitment to quality service can set a new standard.

The Airline has not only redefined my expectations of local air travel but has also given me hope that with dedication and proper management, Nigerian airlines can offer world-class services.
