The number of journalists killed as a result of the Israeli aggression on Gaza has risen to 177, with the recent assassination of journalist Ayman Mohammad Ruwaished.
According to the government media office in Gaza, Ruwaished was a photojournalist working for Al-Aqsa TV and he was killed on Monday.
The Government Media Office strongly condemned the Israeli occupation’s targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists.

It called on the international community, as well as relevant international organisations and bodies working in the field of journalism worldwide, to hold the occupation accountable in international courts for its ongoing crimes, and to exert pressure to stop the genocide and the killing and assassination of Palestinian journalists.
GLOBAL TRACKER recalled that among prominent journalist killed are the son of Aljazeera Bureau chief in Gaza Wael Al-Dahdouh who works with Aljazeera too and three of Al-Dahdouh family including his wife.
Meanwhile, Israel — Hama’s war in Gaza was described as the deadliest on record for journalists who describe killings, attacks and arrests all by Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
