Education for All: Gombe Commissioner Donates Teaching Aids to Her Constituency

The Gombe state commissioner of Education of Education Professor Aishatu Umar Maigari has donated teaching aids to three primary schools in her area of Origin as part of her efforts in ensuring quality education for all.

The benefitting schools are Hashidu central primary school, Abubakar Hashidu Primary school, both in Hashidu, and the Wailare Primary School.

Professor Maigari while distributing the items to pupils, said the gesture was part of her personal commitment in complimenting government efforts in ensuring quality basic education for all.

Represented in the colourful ceremony by the supervisory councilor in Local Education Authority, (LEA), Abubakar Dahiru Chiroma said “professor Maigari is a committed women with passion that every child must have basic education.”

Chiroma then charged the beneficiaries to judiciously use the items and called on people to embarked on communal activities in any level of development.

He assured that the commissioner will continue to work with all stakeholders including the Executive Chairman of Dukku Local Government, Alhaji Adamu Muhammad Waziri and council on Education for the provision of social amenities to all primary and secondary schools in the area.

In his Remarks, on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mallam Nura Danladi, Head of Central Primary called on teachers to dedicate themselves for service to humanity.
