Jigawa Tanker Explosion: Death Toll Rises to 170, Injured Dropped to 70

The Jigawa state police command says the number of people who died as a result of Tanker Explosion in Majia town of Taura local government area of the state has raised to one hundred and seventy (170).

The command stated this in an update statement sent to journalist including GLOBAL TRACKER correspondent by command’s public relations unit led by DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam.

According to Shiisu, seventy victims were currently receiving medical treatment at federal medical center (FMC) in Azare, Nguru and Birnin Kudu of Bauchi, Yobe and Jigawa state respectively.

Other hospitals where injured people are being treated include Hadejia General Hospital, Rashid Shekoni Teaching Hospital, Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, and Dala Orthopedic in Kano state.
