BREAKING: Putin Congratulates Trump, Says “He is Exaggerating Ability to End Ukraine War”

Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated United States president-elect Donald Trump describing him as “brave” after assassination attempt.

Putin also said he was “ready to talk” to Trump.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin remembered Trump’s words on resolving the war in Ukraine, but that the incoming US president “exaggerated” the speed at which he could do it.

“If the new administration is going to look for peace, not for the continuation of the war, it will be better in comparison with the previous one,” Peskov said.

Democratic candidate Kamala Harris had said that Putin would eat Trump for lunch, in an effort at warning the American public about her rival’s diplomacy skills.

Peskov was asked about her jibe, but responded with a quip: “Putin does not eat people.”
