Why German Economy is Going Down — Kremlin Spokesman

The spokesman of the Russian presidential villa Dmitry Peskov explains why the German economy is going down amid economic challenges facing the country.

According to Peskov “German companies cannot compete in European and global markets because they don’t have affordable, cheap energy sources anymore.

He said they were deprived of the possibility to purchase them on a spot market due to the political position of their government.

“So that’s why no one is going to be satisfied with the government if they simply don’t have the possibility to compete because of their political decisions.”

But, report said a significant challenges was the reason behind, and it’s not just about the energy crisis. While the shutdown of Russian gas in 2022 did contribute to spiking inflation and cost-of-living pressures, that’s not the whole story.

Other challenges, according to reports include Aging Population, Underinvestment, and Weak private investment.
