Palestinian Death Toll Top 43,700, as US says “Time to End War on Gaza”

The number of Palestinian killed by Israel forces since the war broken out between Israel and Hamas has raised to 43,712 while those wounded are 103,258, as confirmed by Gaza health ministry.

Also, about 50 Palestinian were killed and 182 wounded in the last 24-hours in Gaza and west bank.

GLOBAL TRACKER recalled that on October 7, 2023 Hamas launched attack on Israel in retaliation to Tel Aviv occupation in occupied Palestinian territories killing hundred of Palestinian in those territories and Gaza.

Meanwhile, United States secretary of state Antony Blinken says its time for the war to ends and prevent the continues lost of lifes.

US Blinken say “Israel, by the standards it set itself, has accomplished the goals that it set for itself,” the US secretary of state tells reporters during a visit to Brussels.

“This should be a time to end the war.”

He also said the US wants real and extended pauses in fighting in Gaza so assistance can get to people who need it.

The US has yet to offer any hard consequences for Isreal for its apparent disregard of US requests to end the war and address the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

After the expiry of a 30-day US deadline for Israel to take steps to address the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Washington said Israel was not blocking aid to Gaza and therefore not violating US law.

Eight international aid groups said Israel had failed to meet US demands to improve access for assistance. Food security experts have said it is likely that famine is imminent in parts of the Strip.

Biden, whose term ends in January, has strongly backed Israel since the war broke out on October 7, 2023.

In another development, Russian federation has asked Israel to avoid launching air attacks within its war on Lebanon’s Hezbollah near one of Moscow’s bases in Syria, a top official said.

Syrian state media in mid-October claimed that Israel had struck the port city of Latakia, a stronghold of President Bashar al-Assad, who is supported by Russia and, in turn, backs Hezbollah.

Latakia and its airport are close to the town of Hmeimim, which hosts a Russian airbase.
