SA Commends Kano Governor for 78 Operational Vehicles Donations to Police

The Kano state Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) and office of special adviser to Kano Governor on community policing has commended the executive governor of the state Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf for donating 78 operational vehicles to Nigerian police, Kano state command.

The Special Adviser to Kano state Governor on community policing  Ambassador (Dr) Maimuna Umar Sheriff disclosed this in a message sent to GLOBAL TRACKER correspondent in Kano last night.

According to Maimuna who double as the National Women Coordinator on community policing said the development demonstrate Yusuf’s commitment to enhancing security in the state.

“I commend Governor Abba Yusuf dedication to fostering a safer environment for all Kano residents, his leadership and vision align with our mission to promote community policing and collaboration between law enforcement agencies and the public,” said the special adviser.

She said the donated vehicles will significantly boost the mobility of divisional officers, enabling swift responses to emergencies, encourages community members to actively participate in maintaining peace and security across the state.

“This gesture will actually strengthens the partnership between law enforcement agencies and the community, ensuring a united front against crimes and criminality in all nocks and crannies in Kano,” she said.

“We are proud of your exemplary leadership, your Excellency, Security is indeed everyone’s business, and your efforts have revitalized the police commitment to protect life and property of Kano residents,” added Maimuna.

The special adviser then recognized the commitment of Kano state police commissioner Salman G. Dogo for maintaining harmoniously relationship between Kano community and the police, stressing that together Kano and its environ will be safe for all.
