The Kano state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp (NSCDC) says it has arrested each of three (3) suspected Vandals and motorcycle thieves.
The command public relations Officer SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi disclosed this in a statement sent to GLOBAL TRACKER in Kano on Thursday.
According SC Abdullahi, the suspect allegedly vandalised and takeaway multimillion naira transformer’s armed cables in Kumbotso local government area, but they were arrested including the stolen property receiver.

The suspected Vandals are Lawan Ahmed, 17 years old of Unguwa uku quarters, Ahmad Yusuf, 21 years old of Kawo quarters, Nassarawa LG and Mujahid Kabiru, 22yrs, resident of Kofar Waika Gwale Local government of Kano State.
The command has since launched an investigation into the case with a view to effect more arrest of individuals linked to the syndicate.
Similarly, the State Command of the Corps, has also nabbed Three suspected motorcycle thieves in Kano.
Two of the suspects, Abdulrazaq Umar, 30yrs, resident of Sharada Ja’en and Aminu shehu Muhd, 42 years old of Janbulo qtrs, Gwale Local government area of Kano State. The men of the under world are syndicate that specialized in stealing motorbikes in the metropolis and this time, the suspects were picked up at Unity road, Kano while unlocking a parked motorcycle in a nearby Plaza in the area.
Another motorcycle thief, one Musa Ibrahim,30 years old was arrested at kwanar Gafan, Garun Malam local government area.
The suspect disassemble the bike’s key and stole it at Kwanar Garko, Garko local government of Kano, before his eventual arrest by operatives of NSCDC.
The six (6) suspected criminals are now in custody of civil defence investigation department, and in completion of investigations they’ll all be charged to court.
