Rebels Takeover Syrian Second Largest City

Syrian rebels have takeover the control of the second largest city in the country, Aleppo.

A video footages verified by residents in Aleppo and the CNN shows how rebels alliance launched a surprise attack this week sweeping eastward through villages outside the city.

By today in the morning, CNN footages show how rebel fighters had taken control of large swathes of the city.

Rebel fighters have been seen at key locations, with one video showing armed men waving an opposition flag and yelling “God is great” in Arabic at a central square.

Meanwhile, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has held a phone call with Mohammed Bin Zayed, the ruler of the United Arab Emirate.

Mohammed Bin Zayed, surprisingly, states that the UAE stands with Syria, and that it supports Syria’s sovereignty and right to defend against terrorist movements.

In the same vein, a gunfire is heard in Damascus, the capital of Syria.

Some observers state clashes between different factions of the SAA, possibly a military coup led by the Republican Guard.
