The United States Geographical Survey (USGS) has confirmed that 7.0 magnitude earthquake has strikes Humboldt County, Northern California, Near the border of Oregon in the United States.
USGS initially reported the quake as 6.6, but letter upgraded it to 7.0 with possibility of Tsunami.
There was no immediate reports of damage.
ABC 7 reported that this is one of three quakes to strike near the massive San Andreas Fault, a region known for history’s most significant earthquakes.
