President Tinubu Assured Nigerians of More Infrastructural Development

The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has assured Nigerians of executing more infrastructural projects that have direct bearing to the people especially roads networking across the country.

The Minister of State for Works, Mohammed Bello Goronyo, who gave the assurance during a courtesy visit to Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, stated that, the ongoing construction of the coastal highway that linked southern and northern corridors of the country shows that, President Tinubu has commitment to Nigerian projects.

The Minister who described President Tinubu as a leader that is ready to serve the people of Nigeria and also remain focus and resolute to deliver his mandate, said the coastal highway from Illela in Sokoto state to Badagry, Lagos state would open up a lot of business activities, reduce insecurity and hours of travel as well connect to families and friends.

The Minister told the governor that, roads maintainance, clearing of drainages, work plan for projects and creating of roads maintainance agency
are lots of things to collaborate together and drive some of the programmes to achieve the desired objectives.

Bello Goronyo, informed the Governor that, his visit to Kebbi State was part of familiarization visit to states and also to commissioned a rehabilitated bridge at Alawasa town along Sokoto to Birnin Kebbi road that was devastated during rainy season and rehabilitated by FERMA.

Responding, Governor Nasir Idris, acknowledged the work being executed by the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency FERMA in the state in terms of repairs and maintenance of roads.

Governor Idris, however thanked President Tinubu for finding it fit for Kebbi State to benefit from the construction of the coastal highway from Illela in Sokoto state to Badagry in Lagos state that will bring a lots of economic development to the people of the State.
