The inauguration team of the United States president-elect Donald Trump are reportedly planning to exits US from Funding the World Health Organizations (WHO).
According to sources from Reuters news agency published by war monitoring journalist “Mario Nawfal”, the team said is enough with funding what they call a “puppet of Beijing.”
But, the critics warns that US’s withdrawal will undermine global disease surveillance and emergency response systems.

Lawrence Gostin, a professor of global health at Georgetown University in Washington and director of the WHO Collaborating Center on National and Global Health Law said ”I have it on good authority that he plans to withdraw, probably on Day One or very early in his administration.”
However, the team said the fund will be redirected from global bureaucracy to America’s own health priorities.
With RFK Jr. tapped for Health Secretary, the Trump administration looks ready to rewrite the global health playbook on their terms.
