This ensures our poorest and most at-risk citizens including pregnant women, children under five, people living with disabilities and those with chronic conditions like scale cell and HIV can access care with dignity,” said Dr. Rahila.

“KSCHMA provides a lifeline to our most at-risk citizens, including; 145,723 Pregnant Women, 124,802 Children Under Five, 46,512 People Living with Disabilities, 31,003 People Living with Chronic Medical Conditions, 29,473 People Living with HIV, 3,609 Inmates in Correctional Centres and 8,053 others, including persons managing conditions like fistula, hypertension, and spinal cord injuries”, said executive secretary.

Every new enrollee represents a family protected from financial shock, a child who can see a doctor, and a step toward a healthier, more productive state. We reaffirm our resolute commitment to achieving this vision of His Excellency, the Governor, and the mandate of the Kano State Government for a healthy populace,” she added.
